Joe Nichols’ Poolroom

Joe Nichols' Poolroom in Skating Rink Hall in Mendocino, c. 1910. Between 1909 and 1918, Joseph H. Loggers’ Lingo in the Redwoods

Every profession has its own lingo, its way of talking about its work. The timber business jargon is especially colorful, though it differs somewhat from region to region.
