Join the Kelley House Museum as we toast the memory of Angela Lansbury, the beloved star of Murder, She Wrote. Lansbury starred as Jessica Fletcher, the charming sleuth of one of the most syndicated TV shows in television history. “Deadly Lady,” one of the first episodes filmed in Mendocino, will be screened first at the Matheson Performing Arts Center at 4pm. Afterwards, walk across the street to a hosted reception at the Blair House Inn, made famous as the home of Angela’s character, Jessica Fletcher. Enjoy delicious appetizers provided by Trillium Cafe and Floyd & Connie’s; sample wine from Murder Ridge Winery, Roederer Estate, and Scharffenberger Cellars; and satisfy your sweet tooth with a special Angela Lansbury truffle from Mendocino Chocolate Company. Explore the inn’s rooms, including Angela’s Suite, and peruse original scripts from the TV show.
