Sunday Afternoon With Our Emergency Medical Responders
February 25
4 – 5 p.m.
Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a first responder on our wild and beautiful Mendocino Coast? Getting the call, being first on the scene? Rappelling down crumbling cliffs to rescue an ab diver? Or mounting a Jet Ski in fifty-degree water to save a drowning boater? What kind of strength and motivation does it take to be that person? And what’s it like for the family waiting at home?
Morgan Daniel and his son-in-law, Tyler Grinberg, will relate their experiences as first responders at “Lives on the Line: Sunday Afternoon with our Emergency Medical Responders,” February 25 from 4-5 p.m. at the Kelley House Museum. Daniel will also perform two original songs based on his experiences as a first responder.
“Lives on the Line” is presented in tandem with the current museum exhibit, “Medicine on the Mendocino Coast: ‘Say Ahh’…” and is part of the ongoing speakers’ series presented by the Kelley House six times per year. Admission for members is $5, $7 for the public.
