You won’t want to miss Fannie Farmer’s Flash Fringe Fantasia, April 13, 14 and 15, three days of special exhibits in conjunction with the Mendocino County Almost Fringe Festival.

The Pop Up Cookbook Exhibit kicks off the event on Friday the 13th, with century-plus cookbooks from the Kelley House Museum collection, as well as treasured editions on loan from members of the community. And, for contrast, some modern examples are included, courtesy of Gallery Bookshop. The Cookbook Exhibit will continue through the weekend.

The exhibit will feature all things fringe — from beaded handbags to curling tongs used to create a “lunatic fringe.”  Fringed items on loan from the neighboring boutique Indigo will also be featured. Fringe Fashions will be on display throughout the festival.

Kelley House Museum is located in the block between Lansing, Albion and Main Streets with dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean. Email <[email protected]> for further information.
