On Monday, October 8, the Kelley House Museum is hosting the Second Annual MARTHA WAGNER Service Day
. . . when volunteers pitch in and help out with minor repairs, painting and gardening at the 1861 historic house and grounds. The late Martha Wagner was a steadfast benefactor of the Kelley House who was passionate about the garden.
Beginning with pastries and mimosas at 8:30 a.m., the work day starts at nine, breaking for a brown bag lunch at noon. Work resumes from 1:00-3:00 p.m., followed by beer and wine to celebrate a job well done.
If you can lend a hand on projects to improve the grounds and house, RSVP to [email protected] or call 937-5791. Painters, carpenters, electricians, gardeners and all willing to help are asked to please bring work gloves and come.
