DON’T PANIC * EAT ORGANIC
50 Years of the Corners Collective

Celebrate fifty years of “Corners of the Mouth,” Mendocino’s legendary worker-owned natural food store in the Spring exhibit at the Kelley House Museum. What started as a food buying club in 1975 serving the counterculture and back to the landers, evolved into a beloved hub of the local community. Learn about the origins of the Baptist church that houses the store, admire the artistry of original hand-drawn posters and recipes, and view photos of the collective’s members from the past five decades.

Meet the Corners of the Mouth Collective members from over the years and view the “Don’t Panic * Eat Organic” exhibit on view at the Kelley House Museum during April and May. Share your stories and memories with the staff of Mendocino’s legendary worker-owned natural food store and raise a glass to usher them into their next fifty years! Refreshments provided along with homemade goodies from the staff’s talented bakers. Admission is free, but please RSVP below.
